PLASTERING AND ROOFING VIDEO:
Perlite and vermiculite both have some interesting properties which make them useful in a number of industrial applications. They are both used in a number of special industrial uses ranging from insulation in cryogenic tanks and insulation between tanks wall (perlite), to absorbent packing in lab packs (vermiculite), to filtration medias (perlite). They have been used as fillers in plastics, as aggregates in well cements, and as abrasives.
Perlite and vermiculite have been used by our customer to amend professional potting soils made from peat moss. They also have been used in outdoor mixes, in turfgrass and outdoor plantings, for gardens, for special 100% perlite or vermiculite growing applications, and increasingly for commercial and amateur hydroponic growing and water conservation.
Perlite and vermiculite both have some interesting properties which make them useful in a number of strange and unusual applications which no one would expect! Perlite and Vermiculite can be produced in a number of different sizes, and expanded to different densities. And they can both hold water, and other liquids such as oils, nutrients, chemical mixtures, and special coatings, and they both provide insulation.
